Unfailing Love

Love, we hear and use this word all the time....what is love? First and foremost, God is love. 1 John 4:16 This verse goes on to say that whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. Love is an action that we show. It is not based on circumstances or the way people treat us....we choose to love as Jesus loves. It is loving on someone that we may feel does not deserve it. Just as Jesus loved us while we were yet sinners, He chose to love us and this love is unconditional. None of us deserve this love, but God so rich in mercy chose to show His ultimate love in sending His one and only Son to die for us-in our place-on the cross. Take a moment and think about that. Jesus loves you and me with such great love whether we "feel" it or not. God's love is unfailing. Psalm 32:10. Loved ones, friends and family will disappoint you and may even turn their backs on you, but friend, God never will. He has promised that He will never leave or forsake you. You may not understand His ways, you may wonder why you are going through a difficult situation, but God always has a purpose in mind and this purpose is to draw you closer to Him and turn your eyes on Him. The psalmist says "because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You." 63:3 Rest today in His love. This love does not change. God does not turn His back on you. He wants you to know how deeply and intimately He loves you. Great is His love towards you. Psalm 86:13 His love supports you. Psalm 94:18 His love endures forever. Psalm 100:5 God keeps you with His love. Isaiah 38:17 He quiets you with His love. Zephaniah 3:17 Friend, NOTHING can separate you and me from the love of Christ. Romans 8:35 I am praying for each person who reads this to grasp how deep and wide the love of Christ truly is. If you are in a place where you don't feel loved...rest in God's promises. Set your mind on the truth of His word....these promises are for you. When you get up in the morning and look in the mirror...say out loud, God is for me, God loves me and will never let me go no matter how I may feel. If you belong to Christ, you are a child of the King...you are seated with Him in the heavenlies
and one day, He will come again and take from the world His own. This life on earth is temporary and goes by so fast...we have a place that Jesus Himself is preparing for us and it will be more beautiful and more glorious than we can ever imagine. Let God's word sink down into your heart and rest in His love.

Hold on!

"The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24 We serve a God who is so faithful. He is faithful to us even when we are not. He has an appointed time for everything. And friend, His purpose will prevail. This is not in our time...we must remember, that it is in His perfect timing. He knows what is best for us and He will work ALL things for our good for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. He uses all of our circumstances to conform us to the likeness of His Son Jesus. Satan Is Your Enemy, Not People

I know there are times when it feels like others are truly your enemy, by the things they say or how they treat you, however, they are not your real enemy-satan is. While he does use people as part of his strategy, he is always the one behind the warfare. You must remember this at all times. Don't let satan catch you off guard. He will come at you especially during times you are tired both physically and emotionally.
