The love of the Father

As a follower of Christ, all of His promises are yours. They are yours regardless of what you may feel. They are yours not based on what you do, but based on what Christ did for you. The work at the cross is a finished work. When God speaks, nothing can change His plan and that plan was to save you from a life of death to a life with Him in Christ. You may be thinking, I do not deserve this love. Truly, none of us deserve this love, but God, so rich in mercy and grace, lovingly calls each of us by name and delivers us from the pit. Did you know that you are a jewel in the hand of your God? "You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God....this verse goes on to say that the Lord DELIGHTS in you and as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God REJOICES over you." Isaiah 62:3-5 Meditate on these words...let them sink into your heart, no matter what you may feel-God's word is true and His words are for you! Did you know that God even keeps your tears? "You have taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in Your book?" Psalm 56:8 God is faithful, even we are not. He is loving, when we are not. He is merciful when we don't show mercy. In your difficult times, God is there to rescue you. "They confronted me in the day of  my calamity, but the Lord was my stay. He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He DELIGHTED in me." Psalm 18:18-19 The God of all the universe delights in YOU! "The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy. He will be quiet with His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy." Zephaniah 3:17 Read those words again, they are God's love letter to you! He rejoices over you. People will disappoint you, maybe even forsake you, but God never will. In this life, He is the only one that truly satisfies. He is the only one that can give you the peace that is unspeakable. He is the only one who can fill the void in your life that nothing or no one else can.
Christian artist Kari Jobe has a song and I want to share some of its lyrics with you.
"I know that You are for me
I know that You are for me,
I know that You will never forsake me in my weaknesses,
I know that You have come now, even if to write upon my heart
To remind me, who You are."
You are a child of the King. You are made righteous in Christ. When God looks at you, He looks at you through Christ, and He sees no stain. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Dig into His word today and let Him speak to your heart. He loves you dearly.
