God spoke, and it was so

Today I took the boys to Hanging Rock. As I looked at how beautiful the waterfalls and mountains were and the beautiful blue sky with the ravens
flying overhead, I just kept thinking how awesome is our God who created all of this with His breath. He spoke the world we know into existence. Can you just wrap your mind around that thought? God SAID "let there be light, and there was light," God SAID "let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water" when He did this He called the expanse from the water above "sky", and God SAID, "let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear, and it was so, and God called the dry ground "land." Genesis 1:3-9
There is so much beauty that we have yet to see when you consider all of the galaxies that are out there and everything under the sea. God did this with you and me in mind. "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." Isaiah 40:26 Our God calls each star by name. This should be a reminder to us just how much God cares about details. He cares about every detail in your life, no matter how small you think it may be.
"By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the BREATH OF HIS MOUTH. He gathers the waters of the seas in to jars, He puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere Him. For HE SPOKE and it came to be; He commanded and it stood firm." Psalm 33:6-9 It goes on to say in verses 13-15 "from heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from His dwelling place He watches all who live on the earth-He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do." God sees all, He knows all. When you think no one is watching or no one will find out, God sees and He knows even before you do the next step you are going to take. In Jeremiah we read "Ah, Sovereign Lord, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you." 32:17 Hold on to this verse....there is NOTHING too hard for God! Hold on to the hope you have in Him. He can and will do mighty things in your life, that only He can do. Trust Him! Trust the One who holds everything together.
