God sees all.

"Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, 'who sees us? who will know?' You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, 'He did not make me?' Can the pot say of the potter, 'He knows nothing?' Isaiah 29:15-16 Many people go about their lives and think God does not notice or maybe that He does not care what they are doing. They may continue in hiding their sin because they think they are getting away with it because they have not gotten caught. This is deception! Eventually, God will indeed expose the motives of our hearts Proverbs 16:2 and "man's ways are in full view of the Lord, and He examines all his paths." Proverbs 5:21 God sees all...He sees every step you take and He knows every thought you think. I believe deception is one of satan's biggest tools. To deceive is to "cause to believe what is not true or to mislead." God's word is so important to fight against deception. satan can cause us to believe a lie, believe that what you are doing is okay, to believe you are saved by works, to believe God does not love you or that God will not forgive you. These are just a few examples of how satan can work in deceiving us. We are told that if we "stop listening to instruction, we will stray from the words of knowledge." Proverbs 19:27 It is so easy for us to stray-it is in our nature. And it is easier for us to do wrong than it is to do right. We are told to put on the full armor of God so that we can stand against satan and all of his attacks and schemes. To "put on" is an action that we are to do. This is something we ourselves must do-we don't just happen to have our armor on. This requires reading God's word, holding on to truth and being aware that we have an enemy of our soul that is seeking someone to devour. satan will stop at nothing to try to cause you to stumble. We must be on guard-we are not to be passive! Hiding God's word in our heart, will allow the Spirit to bring verses to our mind as we need them. When you are in a situation and feel that you are being attacked, speak the Word-resist satan and he must flee! James 4:7 Remember though, that God is omnipresent-He is present everywhere all the time...satan is not-he is a created being and can only be in one place at one time. His demons, the angels that fell with satan from heaven, do the rest of the work. I know some may be thinking, if God sees all, why does He allow so much pain and heartache. While I cannot answer that question, I am reminded that we live in a fallen world. Sin entered the world through Adam and is born in all of us...it is this sin that keeps us from God and keeps us from doing good until we come to know the Lord Jesus. One day, God will right all the wrongs that have been done. Until that day, stand firm, and know that your labor for the Lord is not in vain. He knows your every moment and He loves you so much. Hold on to the hope you have in Christ Jesus-He is the anchor for your soul!
