Created by Him for Him

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew or chose you." Jeremiah 1:4 You are no accident! God formed you while you were in your mother's womb and He has a plan and a purpose for you. This plan is for good and not for evil, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 God doesn't care where you have been or what you have done-He loves you and will restore your life once again! In the Psalms, we read "I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." 27:13-14 It is so easy for us to look at our circumstances; only what our eyes see at the present time and not focus on the Lord and what He has in store for us. This is one of the reasons it is so important to read and know God's word. We need to hide it in our hearts so that when evil comes, or circumstances beyond our control happen, we can stand firm, knowing and trusting that the Lord will see us through to the end. Oh, if we could only grasp"how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love surpasses knowledge." Ephesians 3:18 This love of Christ will keep you. It will help you to stand firm in every situation. The issues we face are only temporary, God and His love and mercy are eternal. We will lose people we love either from death or choices, we may lose a job, we may lose our financial security we once had or our health will fail us. Stand on the Rock, which is Jesus because He will stand when all else crumbles. Jesus is the One who can and will satisfy. Jesus won the victory at the cross. Hell and satan were defeated. Claim this victory! As a child of God, you are royalty. He has made us heirs with Him in heaven. I know that it is hard to wrap our minds around the things we cannot see or the thought of "forever and ever," but that is where our faith in Christ comes in. He is preparing a place for us. He would not have told us this if it were not so. The life we live on earth is just a small journey compared to the eternity that awaits us. We can live our lives in such a way that brings glory to God. He promises that we will receive rewards for the things we have done here on earth. These "crowns" we will receive, we will lay at the feet of Jesus. I just think it is so awesome that we have the opportunity to lay crowns at Jesus's feet. I would not want to get to heaven and not have any crowns, I think that would break my heart. While we have the opportunity, while we still have breath in us, we need to do all that we can do for the kingdom of God. I pray God will teach us to number our days and focus on things that are of eternal value. Only what is done for Christ will last. I don't know about you, but when I stand before Jesus one day, I am sure that there will be things I wish I had done or people I could have shared the gospel with. I won't be concerned about what new item I bought or what grade I made on a test. I say this in love so that we can get our focus on what really matters. We were created by Him, for Him. Colossians 1:16

Hold on!

"The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24 We serve a God who is so faithful. He is faithful to us even when we are not. He has an appointed time for everything. And friend, His purpose will prevail. This is not in our time...we must remember, that it is in His perfect timing. He knows what is best for us and He will work ALL things for our good for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. He uses all of our circumstances to conform us to the likeness of His Son Jesus. Satan Is Your Enemy, Not People

I know there are times when it feels like others are truly your enemy, by the things they say or how they treat you, however, they are not your real enemy-satan is. While he does use people as part of his strategy, he is always the one behind the warfare. You must remember this at all times. Don't let satan catch you off guard. He will come at you especially during times you are tired both physically and emotionally. He comes only to kill, steal and destroy-your family, your testimony, your finances, your relationships and your health. satan is the father of lies, he was a murderer from the beginning and there is no truth found in him (John 8:44).      Satan has been deceiving people since the Garden of Eden where he first deceived Eve.
