Blessing is connected to our obedience

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on the earth. All these blessings will come upon you if you obey the Lord your God. You WILL be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb WILL be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock-the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough WILL be blessed. You WILL be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out." Deuteronomy 28:1-6 These blessings will come in different forms, some financial, some physical and some spiritual. You will experience the peace of God in every area of your life. This peace He gives you will carry you through any and every situation. You may be going through financial difficulty right now. Remember that God is the source of everything. Now is not the time to stop tithing...continue to tithe and be obedient to Him, trusting that He will meet every need you have. You may be struggling in your marriage or another relationship, give it to Him and lean on Him. Let Him begin to change you. He is the God of the impossible...is there anything too hard for Him? The answer is unmistakably NO! He is our creator God...He is all-knowing, all-powerful and oh so mighty! He holds everything together. He wants you and me to simply be obedient to Him and leave the consequences up to Him-Charles Stanley said that once and I love it. He gives you and me free will, which means we have the choice to choose to follow Him or not-it is up to us. "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and HOLD FAST TO HIM. FOR THE LORD IS YOUR LIFE, and He will give you many years in the land He swore to give to your Fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." Deuteronomy 30:19-20 When God becomes your life, there is nothing that you cannot do-He is with you every step of the way...as you choose to follow Him and walk in obedience, expect trials and difficulties. Jesus promised that they would come. "In this world, you WILL have trouble. But take heart! I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD." John 16:33 As you stand for God, you become a threat to satan and the kingdom of darkness so spiritual opposition will come....I count it a privilege knowing that satan and his demons look at me (and you) as a threat! You know you are doing something right when the attacks come! Be wise and know what they are...so that you will not fall! Remember that satan is sneaky and very deceptive also masquerading as an angel of light. He may make something appear so good, but in the end it will lead to death and destruction. Be careful and stay in the word-you and I are no match for satan on our own, but we have the power of God-the same power that raised Jesus from the dead-living on the inside of us. Live your life in such a way that God gets all the glory and praise! God has given us everything we need in His word. Read His word and meditate on it. "Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him." Proverbs 30:5
"Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice." 1 Samuel 15:22

Hold on!

"The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24 We serve a God who is so faithful. He is faithful to us even when we are not. He has an appointed time for everything. Satan Is Your Enemy, Not People

I know there are times when it feels like others are truly your enemy, by the things they say or how they treat you, however, they are not your real enemy-satan is. While he does use people as part of his strategy, he is always the one behind the warfare. You must remember this at all times. Don't let satan catch you off guard. He will come at you especially during times you are tired both physically and emotionally. He comes only to kill, steal and destroy-your family, your testimony, your finances, your relationships and your health. satan is the father of lies, he was a murderer from the beginning and there is no truth found in him (John 8:44).      Satan has been deceiving people since the Garden of Eden where he first deceived Eve.
