Keep Your Eyes On Him

Life is at times hard and circumstances can seem overwhelming at times. You cry out to God to "fix" everything, to make your problems go away, but sometimes, He will calm you in spite of what you are facing. He doesn't take you out of the situation, but He gives you His peace and His strength to endure the difficulty. The problem may still exist, however, in Him, you have the fullness of joy and an overwhelming sense of His presence and His peace. This love is a sacrificial love. It is one that continues to love regardless of how you are treated, regardless of what others say to you or about you and it is one that loves against all odds. This love of Christ forgives when you are hurt. It forgives when you are mistreated. It forgives when injustice is shown to you or your family. This type of love keeps no record of wrongs. Love is also a 'feeling of strong or constant affection for a person.' Friend, that is the way God feels about you all the time. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is  love. "If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in Him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in Him (1 John 4:15-16)."       God's love is one with no limits and no conditions.
