Nothing Is Too Hard For The Lord!
"Ah, Sovereign Lord, You have made the heavens and the earth, by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You." Jeremiah 32:17
Our God is Mighty in power and in strength. He spoke, and this world we live in came to be. He spoke, and created man. He spoke and made night and day. He spoke and all of the animals were created. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1 "Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness..." Genesis 1:26 Oh, dear friend, let those verses sink into your heart and mind, until you realize that there is nothing too hard for our God!
God stands ready and waiting for you to call on Him and to make your requests known to Him, and not only to make them known, but to believe that He will give you what your heart desires. He promises that if you abide in Him and His word abides in you, then you can ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. John 15:7 You need to believe that God's word is truth. He loves you with an unfailing love and His compassions never fail. Lamentations 3:22 As you delight yourself in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 The verse goes on to say that if we will commit our way to the Lord, He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. (vs 5-7) Friend, the most important thing in our life is our relationship with our Father. This relationship should be above any other relationship we have. As we seek His face, our desires will begin to change and line up with His desires. Our faith is so important, in fact, without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 We must believe that God will do what He says He will do and not waiver. Jesus plainly said, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." The "mountain" Jesus is speaking about refers to any difficulty in your life. It could be a broken relationship, a health issue, a financial problem or an addiction. Whatever the issue is, we have the power by the Holy Spirit to move that mountain once and for all.
As we are praying, we must keep in mind that whatever we are asking for is in God's timing, and provided that what we are asking for lines up with His word, then we know we already have it. As we wait on Him, He will teach us patience and give us the grace we need until we see the answer to our prayer. Paul tells us "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9 It is very easy for us to get discouraged when we don't see an answer to our prayer, especially if we have been praying for quite some time, but God promises that we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up. The enemy will try to convince you that God will not answer your prayer and tell you to forget it. Don't believe the lies....remember, satan is the father of lies and was a liar from the beginning; there is no truth in him. If what you are thinking about does not line up with God's word, you need to cast that thought down and make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
I want to leave you with one final thought. God created us for Him and His glory. Colossians 1:15-16
I pray that you live out your life to bring our awesome and mighty King glory. I pray that others see you and want what you have which is Jesus Christ! Yes, God does want to give you good things, but our goal should be to seek His face not His hand and to be holy as He is holy.
"Welcome to the living Stone (Christ), the source of life. The workmen took one look and threw it out; God set it in the place of honor. Present yourselves and building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life in which you'll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God." 1 Peter 2:4
