God Loves You-No Strings, No Conditions

     God loves you! His word tells us that He is love. 1 John 4:16 He does not love like we do, which often times is based on conditions or what someone can do for us. We make love about us. God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 Who is "the world?" That is EVERYONE....everyone who has ever been born or will be born. "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8
     The God of all the universe, Maker of heaven and earth, cared enough about you and me to become the perfect sacrifice for us. He chose to willingly come to earth and lay down His life so that you and I could be restored to Him and have a relationship with Him through the blood of Jesus.
     He freely gives His grace to all who will receive it.This marvelous grace is a gift from God. There is nothing we can do to earn it. We simply just have to believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, the perfect, sinless sacrifice, who died for us and rose again and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord. That is it...nothing more, nothing less. Many people feel they have to do good works to earn God's love and favor or they have to be "good enough" to get into heaven. They may say, "well, I am a good person, I haven't done this or that (you fill in the blank), so I am sure I am going to heaven. Man has come up with false religions and doctrines that teach that there are many ways to get to heaven. Preachers may even teach false doctrine leading some astray. Jesus says, "I am THE way THE truth, and THE life, no man comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 He did not say there are many ways, but that He is THE one and only way.
     It does not matter what you have done, God loves you the same....He does not change. His love for you is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. James 5:11 He wants you to cry out to Him and confess your sin to Him-He already knows everything you have done or ever will do. He is waiting for you with open arms. Jesus says, " I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20
The Lord tells us in Isaiah we "are precious and honored in His sight." 43:4
     "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 All throughout the Bible, we read how much God loves us. His love never fails. His love is unchanging. His love is forevermore. Everything God does, He does in love because He is love and "this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1 John 4:10
     God is for you. The world will tell you otherwise. People will betray you and sometimes desert you, but God never will. He will satisfy your every need-the deep longings of your heart. He created you; "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." Jeremiah 1:5
     I am praying for you to know beyond any doubt how much God loves you, and that everything He does, is for your good and His glory. I am praying you feel His presence and His arms of love wrapped around you at this very moment. "For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100:5

Hold on!

"The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24 We serve a God who is so faithful. He is faithful to us even when we are not. He has an appointed time for everything. And friend, His purpose will prevail. This is not in our time...we must remember, that it is in His perfect timing. He knows what is best for us and He will work ALL things for our good for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. He uses all of our circumstances to conform us to the likeness of His Son Jesus. Satan Is Your Enemy, Not People

I know there are times when it feels like others are truly your enemy, by the things they say or how they treat you, however, they are not your real enemy-satan is. While he does use people as part of his strategy, he is always the one behind the warfare. You must remember this at all times. Don't let satan catch you off guard. He will come at you especially during times you are tired both physically and emotionally.
