This Will Turn Out for My Deliverance

"So He said to me, 'This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty. What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of, 'God bless it! God bless it! (Zechariah 4: 6-7)."
What mountain are you facing today? The mountain of fear? The mountain of poverty? The mountain of a broken relationship? The mountain of discouragement? The mountain of unbelief? The mountain of an addiction? The mountain of a lost loved one? Whatever mountain it may be, God is bigger than anything. He is bigger than any problem you will ever go through. He made the heavens and the earth by His power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32: 17).The question is, will you take Him at His word and believe that He will do the impossible for you? Walking by faith is trusting God no matter what your circumstances look like. Walking by faith is clinging to Him when everything seems to be coming against you and knowing that God will work it all out for your good and His glory.
Friend, when things are going well your faith cannot be tested. It is when you are in the fire that your faith is tested. Job endured many trials and his faith was constantly tested. He never once doubted God and stood firm in Him. "Though He slay me, yet I will hope in Him; I will surely defend my ways to His face. Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance, for no godless man would ever dare to come before Him (Job 13: 15-16)." Despite the loss Job suffered in his family, the sickness in his body and the betrayal of his friends, Job knew that God was going to work it out for his deliverance! The righteous live by faith (Habakkuk 2: 4)." Faith is defined as "complete trust or confidence in someone or something; strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof."
Faith is not based on the seen but on the unseen. Faith would not be faith at all if we had to see it to believe it. Have you considered why you are going through a difficulty? Maybe God is using the very trial you are in right now to increase your faith. Maybe He is using this trial to show you that He can always be trusted. Maybe He is using the trial to show you that He is the one constant in this life and if you have Him, you have everything you will ever need. Things in life don't just happen. God is in complete control. He has allowed or decreed everything in your life (some good and some bad) to accomplish His purpose. The thing we must remember as we go through trials is that God never changes. Which means He is always loving, always trustworthy, always compassionate, always just, always right and always merciful. He cares so much about you that even the hairs on your head are numbered (Matthew 10: 30).
So then, if you believe God is who He says He is and take Him at His word, then you have nothing to fear. This is why you can count it all joy when we "face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1: 2-4)." Another way to view your trial is that you, my friend, are counted worthy to endure this present battle. Not only that, but the opposition you are facing is a reminder that you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness! Praise God for that! If you never faced opposition you should prayerfully examine yourself to see whose side you are truly on.
Continue to press on through the trial, it is only temporary. Remind yourself that the battle is the Lord's and He will fight for you. In the meantime, have faith in God that He hears your prayers and will give you what you ask according to His will. "Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer (Matthew 21: 21-22)." The "whatever" here does not necessarily mean a new car, financial blessing or some other material thing. God may choose to give you those things, however, He promises that He will provide for our needs. Remember my friend, that God will always do what is best for you. He is for you. Wait on Him and trust in His perfect timing.
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honored in My sight, and because I love you (Isaiah 43: 1-4)."
