Trials will come!
God's word tells us that in the world we WILL have tribulation, it does not say "might" or "may have" tribulation, but that we will. However, Jesus says that in Him, we can have peace and for us to take heart, because He has overcome the world. John16:32-33. I look back at the past few years of my life and all of the difficulties I faced. It was in these dark times of my life, that I cried out to my Father. Through the pain, God showed me how to love as He loves, how to truly forgive and he showed me that He will NEVER leave or forsake me. At the time that I was going through the trials, it was hard and there were days I thought to myself how am I going to get through? But God....I love those two words, BUT GOD! He had a plan for me. That plan was to draw me closer to Him than I have ever been in my life. His plan was to show me that Jesus is the ONLY one who satisfies. I look back now and I would not change a thing. As hard as it was for me at times and oh how my heart ached, I learned that the love my Father has for me far surpasses anything or anyone on this earth. He tenderly carried me when I needed it and He guided my every step. God longs for an initmate relationship with His creation. He knows each of us by name; the hairs on our head are numbered! He loves us more than we could ever imagine. To think, that the God of all universe, the creator of heaven and earth, loves us and wants to have that personal relationship with each of us.
Know that in your pain, God is with you. There is a purpose for the pain. Nothing happens to us that does not pass through God's loving hands. In Job we read that satan had to ask permission from God before doing anything to Job. God's purpose is to draw us to Himself. In your pain, cry out to God and let Him mold you into His image. He will lovingly wrap His arms around you. He always has your best in mind.
